EXPANSE 2.2 UPDATE: This update includes a new preset I’ve been using a lot when I play live. It utilizes the effects I use when I play through the Jazz Rivet amp and cab in the HELIX. Set your amp to get a little past edge of break up tone and you’ll be good to go!
HWL H New Jazz (Designed to be used with a ‘song’ per SNAPSHOT. Several parameters are set to change with each snapshot including delay, reverb, BPM, and others.)

EXPANSE 2.1 (Previous) UPDATE: This update includes a special new preset that allows you to play either guitar or bass through one preset…WITH JUST YOUR GUITAR! That’s right! This preset saved me one sunday where my bass player had to cancel at the last minute and 2 of the songs didn’t have bass tracks for me to unmute in Ableton. I was surprised at how great the bass tone was, especially coming from my guitar.
HWL BASS + EG (Foot switches 2 and 5 toggle either guitar or bass and snapshots control different parameters and effects for maximum flexibility)
*NOTE - This preset was designed for the Helix and HX Stomp units which include amp and cab models to get the desired sound. Obviously the HX Effects units do not have amp and cab simulation. I’ve tried this preset through a regular guitar amp and the result is not as good as the other units. But I wanted to include this preset so you could play around and get creative with it. Have fun!

EXPANSE 2.0 (Previous) UPDATE: This update includes 2 NEW presets. My new TAYLOR 414 acoustic guitar preset. And an EG/AG STEREO preset.
TAYLOR 414 PRESET: My goal with this preset was to make my cheap Alvarez guitar sound like my more expensive Taylor 414 CE. I also wanted to give more life to my Taylor 414. And this preset does both really well. And better yet, you don’t need IR’s to do it! You can see the results in this VIDEO. I use the parametric EQ to bring my Taylor to life and then add the 10 Band to make my Alvarez sound like my Taylor!
EG/AG STEREO PRESET: This preset is designed for two instruments at the same time. It is set up for 2 people to be able to plug in their own guitars and have a stereo path dedicated to each one. One electric and one acoustic. Pretty cool!

EXPANSE 1.9 (Previous) UPDATE: This update includes 5 NEW presets. 4 PADS Presets and a new “2nd Worship Template” preset.
PADS PRESETS: Recently the guys over at Worship Tutorials released their new “Ambient Pads” presets for the HELIX and it’s amazing!. Kudos to them for this creative idea! In their video they explain that the HX Stomp/XL preset does not have the ability to play your guitar over the pads (not enough DSP).
So my goal was to make HWL PADS presets that allow you to play your guitar on top of the pad sound in the same preset...and I think it came out pretty great. The first 4 presets were originally designed for the HX Stomp (XL), and I included them just as they are. But I also made a second set for the HX Effects called: CINEPADS. (you guessed it, they sound more cinematic).
Each Pad sound is divided into 3 presets containing 4 Keys each (all 12 keys...can be played in major or minor).
